About

Hello! My name is Wanda McKnight Brock. I recently retired from a successful sales career and I’m starting a podcast specifically designed for women in field sales. I am a mom of three grown boys. As a working parent, I was always trying to find the perfect balance between home and career. It was a constant challenge to find the perfect blend of my family, my faith and my career. I was looking to find the most joy I could in my personal and professional life. I think I made significant progress toward that goal, but it was not always an easy road to travel.

My 35+ year sales accomplishments are outlined below. Two of my boys are now married (my family has expanded) and I have entered a new era of parenting. I live 30 miles outside of Nashville TN so yes, I do enjoy country music. I also enjoy all things involving vacations, water activities, family get-togethers, friend time, concerts and exploring new restaurants. Writing and Podcasting are my passion projects.

                                               Why I Podcast

Podcasting isn’t something I thought I would be doing. I’ve spent over 30 years in a sales career and along the way I found out some things that made my work more rewarding. I really wanted to share some of the best ideas, tricks, and secret sauce with others. In short, I have been taught so much by so many over my career. Many have invested their time and resources in me. I do believe it is time to share and give something back. There is plenty of sales technique guidance out there but there is not a lot of information designed to help women learn to balance their faith, their home and family along with a sales career. That realization is what led to the birth of Fill Your Tank. A podcast I hope will bless you with inspiration to be your best at work and home.

I have spent my entire career in the medical / Pharmaceutical sales industry and won my share of performance awards. My career in sales has always been more than a job for me. Both my successes and my mistakes taught me some valuable lessons that I feel compelled to share. Sales is a skill and can be improved upon. Whether you have just entered into your sales career or spent half your life in sales, you have something to add and something to gain from this podcast. I hope we can learn from each other, support each other and laugh as well. Most importantly, I podcast to inspire other women in sales to achieve their best, to find their joy, to intertwine your faith and your career. I hope you will join in and that my podcast “Fill Your Tank” is a blessing to you.
